Original Mary Tyler Moore Silkscreen Art Signed/Numbered by Artist John Pirman

This vibrant, graphic portrait of Mary Tyler Moore is dedicated “To Lila”, and is numbered 111/250, signed and dated by the artist John Pirman. Mr. Pirman’s bold, color-blocked portrait was created in 1993 while he was under contract with Viacom to re-brand Nick @ Nite’s lineup of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, I Love Lucy, and The Dick Van Dyke Show. Mr. Pirman also designed premium promotional items like dishes, mugs, scarves, and more. His clean, beautiful, work can be seen in many publications, and his holiday cards can be found in The Museum of Modern Art’s retail stores. This original piece is unframed, and on heavy, white, textured paper measuring 13 ¾” wide by 11 3/16” high. The image is 10” wide by 7.5” high. There are some slight imperfections, such as a faint crease on the lower right corner, as well as a bit of dirt toward the bottom of the page in the same area. There’s also some pale discoloration on the right side of Mary’s hair. This is a gorgeous, graphic, signed portrait of one of the entertainment world’s most prolific and beloved actresses.
