Officially licensed by DC Comics the Royal Canadian Mint has created this unique coin and commemorative piece that also features a collectable stamp issued by Canada Post. The 2 piece set is pristine in OMP, as new, unopened.
The 50 cent cupronickel coin has a diameter of 35mm and features a laser crafted lenticular reverse image. The reverse image created by both DC Comics and Warner Bros. is a fine tribute to Superman's 75 years in publication. Highlights to the reverse include inscriptions detailing nation of release CANADA, year of release 2013, the face value 50 CENTS and the name SUPERMAN in the fictitious language Kryptonian.
The obverse of the coin presents the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II bt Susanna Blunt. To the left of Her Majesty, the name ELIZABETH II and to the right Her titles D G REGINA.
The 2 piece set is housed in a themed comic book style booklet along with the details of TM's and official Licensing with a bar coded COA.
