The coin listed is the NGC MS70 - 2008 China GIANT PANDA 10Y .999 Fine Silver bullion 1oz coin. The meticulously minted coin presents a wonderful stylized image with an adult and young Panda on the ever popular Giant Panda 1oz .999 Fine Silver bullion annually released series of coins. Easily my own personal favourite with the unique almost abstract backdrop to the two Giant Pandas.
The coin is in an original NGC slab issued in the 2000's. Graded at the time of release as MS70. The coin is brilliant, clean and sharp as the day of release. The coin has an NGC population of 1,653 graded MS70 Worldwide.
The reverse of the coin presents the adult and young Giant Pandas. Both appearing to move down the coin in search of something through the angular designs of the foliage. The wonderfully clear design sits upon a coin of varied finishes with the 2-tone shimmering Pandas presented before an array of sharply cut designs that cover the backdrop of the coin. The weight and finesse 1oz Ag 999 is rendered below and the denomination 10 yuan is presented to the top of the coin above the two Pandas.
The obverse of the coin presents the The Temple of Heaven against a proof like finish. The year 2008 is shown below while circling the coin above The People's Republic of China completes the detail.
