Shimano Deore DX Triple Chainset.

FC-MT60 SG 46-36-24 170 mm crank arms.

(A.K.A FC-M650)

These cranks were the centre piece of all Deore, Deore 2 and Deore DX Groupsets from 1986-1992/3.

Fitted with various different chainring sets both elliptical (Biopace) and Round. This is it in it's penultimate incarnation shod with a Round SG ring set.

It's pre used with some minor cosmetic imperfections fom its previous life/fit up,(light scratches/scuffs/trail rash) The crank's surface coating is still intact and both of the original front face logos are present. Overall I'd say its in pretty good condition for its 34 years!

(Please see photos)

I've fitted it with a super shiney Deore XT M730 Main chainring and a matching (finish) Quality (US made) aftermarket 36. The inner/granny ring is original the original DX item.

They was nothing wrong with the original chainrings I just thought it looked much better (and unique) built up like this.

The XT chainrings of this era differed from their second in line DX/LX brother by their surface finish, a nickel like silver plating for the XT apposed to the flat Matt aluminium DX/LX. The XT main was also fatter/thicker than the others and had its spec/size stamped in rather than just printed on like the DX/LX rings. They both carried the same orange/black SG Narrow chain ony sticker on their front face.

All of the fixing threads and both interface tapers are un damaged and in good condition.

Complete with its original DX centre caps.

(NEW XT Metalic caps available...just ask)

Any questions (Or sensible requests) AT ALL please just ask.

The last photo show it pictured next to a STD SG MT60 and its two original chainrings.
