Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company of Bridgeport, CT, was a plating company which made upscale-looking gimcracks and tchotchkes for wannabe Gatsbys.in the early Jazz Age.  Production was somewhat hampered when one of the founders died and two more brothers were run over by train.

The work at hand is a silver-plated hammered and brazed or soldered sheet tin (?) art nouveau flower vase.  It's 13 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches in diameter on a 4 inch diameter base.  The base reverse bears the company's hallmark and a model number 3258 suggesting a design in the late 'teens or early 20s.  The plating is mostly untarnished but shows only a dull luster indicating it probably isn't sterling and may actually be some sort of nickel silver alloy.
