1993 Shimano Deore LX Triple Chainset.

FC-M560 SG-X 46-36-26 175 mm crank arms.

M560 was the second Deore LX parent groupset. It was the first LX group to carry the gloss black livery that they carried right through to the end of the 8/24 speed era.

This was one of the first MTB groupsets to have full true indexing on the front Derailleur as well as the rear. (Earlier 'rapid fire' underbar shifters only indexed on the down shift up front.)

Hence the 'Dual SIS' Logo on the Main CRs front face!

This and the mk1 XTR M900 were the last of the traditional 110mm BCD MTB Triple Cranksets that Shimano produced.(mid to high end MTB)

These cranks, just like the M900s are super low profiled compared with all that came before them, they were manufactured using a new forging technique.

It's finished in the same way and looks very similar to the Compact 94 LX triple that replaces it!! (FC-M563) The black armed silver ringed version that is.

Pre used with some cosmetic imperfections from its previous usage/fit up, overall it's in pretty good shape though!

I've touched up a few little scratches, mainly on the left hand arm towards the SQTaper end. I'll make sure that's there's no other unsightly scratches prior to despatch.

With these having a painted finish rather than been  electro anodised it doesn't take much to mark them.

The original matched SG-X Chainring set is in very good condition with only minor signs of mechanical wear to the three aluminium chainrings. (See photos)
