Shimano Deore LX Rear Derailleur.

RD-M560 SGS (long/med cage)

M560 was the first LX Parent Group to be finished in gloss black, something that they continued right throughout the 8s 24 speed era)

Part of the second generation of Deore LX branded groupsets, this was the last LX level rear mech to be torsion sprung.

From the LX Golden period! They didn't produce this particular model for very long, it might, at first glance look the same as the other Gloss black LX RDs that followed but it's a bit of a different animal.!

The torsion scissor spring, removable cage stop, sculpted, chamfered chromed cage make it altogether much more of a quality item than the similar looking M563 565 & 567 that followed!

The H & L that are stamped into the body next to the limit screws are also a nice touch and unique to this LX model. (I think it shares its rear chassis with the mid ranged STX MC RDs)

It's previously been used (not very much!) but is in excellent condition with only very minor cosmetic imperfections from its previous fit up.

Originally part of a 7/21 speed group it'll index just as well over 6,8 or 9 sprockets.!

The Derailleur will be,cleaned, checked and serviced prior to despatch....

To confirm that....the cage is straight and true, that non of springs show any signs of fatigue, that all of the heads, threads and fittings are undamaged and in good condition.

Preliminary checked over, and all looks good.

The price reflects it's rarity in this kind of condition and its service status 😉
