Shimano Deore XT Triple Chainset. (MY1989)

The original Mk1 Deore XT Triple Chainset.

These cranks were the centre piece of all Deore XT groupsets from 1985 to 1992 fitted with various different chainring sets both elliptical (Biopace) and Round. This is it in it's (mk2) revised Biopace HP form. Not quite as Eliptical as the original rings.

Part of the first 21 speed XT groupset M732 introduced in 1989.

It's pre used but in good condition for its nearly 35 years with only cosmetical imperfections from its previous fit up/usage. (See photos)

The original XT spec chainrings are far from new but still have life left in them. (Its a shame that they don't make them to last like this anymore!)

XT Spec means that the chainrings are fatter, they're finished in a super shiney nickel like silver, and the specs/sizes are all stamped on. (Unlike the rest of the range)

All of the fixing threads and interface tapers are undamaged and are in good condition.

I intend on polishing out those unsightly light radial scratches on the cranks front faces.
