Brand New boxed vintage cassette player, instructions, and original packaging intact. Tested and fully working, good sound and bass. Box has signs of wear as can be seen in picture.

This is a rare item and in good condition is being marketed at over a grand (and more when in original box!!) but I have listed the walkman at a minimum opening bid price to give everyone a good chance of winning it, and also seeing as it's very saleable, of course.

Some extra info: the Walkman takes a standard, single AA Battery and there's no option for one of the flat 'gumstick' batteries sometimes fitted with Walkmans of this type (so obvs there's no charger included). The Walkman doesn't include a remote control, although it does have a jack to allow the use of one. I had found this a bit strange but then checked the operating instruction leaflet included and found that the only accessories listed as being sold with it were the earphones (see photos) so I guess the remote was only available from Sony if bought separately. These can occasionally be found on Ebay. Please contact me before bidding if you've less than ten feedback ratings or are not resident in the UK, or I may have to cancel your bids. For (vetted) international buyers, I can post at a cheaper rate than what is quoted in my listing.
