Beautiful 1950’s GAILE MODES Cocktail Party DRESS in a mauve beige color. The fabric has the crispness of rayon taffeta and a nice shiny iridescence with a subtle weave. Front panel of lace over light peach colored rayon accented with soutache swirls and dotted with rhinestones. Short sleeve, fitted waist, two bows accent the neckline. Full skirt. Zipper closure in back. Nylon net half skirt. Top bodice is also lined with a linen type fabric. In good condition, no holes or tears but has spots on skirt (see photo) in three areas. Light underarm staining. But this beautiful dress needs to be worn again!
