The Armac R/3000I/PSW Rack PSW series UPS was designed for demanding users who, in the event of a power outage, want to safely maintain the operation of equipment in a 19" rack cabinet (and others) that consumes significant amounts of energy. Suspension of work or failure of devices in the server room may result not only in serious financial losses, but also in the loss of important data. Therefore, it is worth investing in the UPS R/3000I/PSW, which will prevent many unpleasant effects of potential overvoltage. DEDICATED FOR 19" RACK SERVER CABINETS The purpose of the Rack PSW series uninterruptible power supplies is to ensure the safety of equipment in server rooms, IT laboratories, etc. Dedicated to 19" Rack server cabinets, the R/3000I/PSW model provides comprehensive protection against surges, while regulating the voltage powered device and maintaining its operation in the event of a power outage. WIDER FIELD OF APPLICATION UPS R/3000I/PSW is a high-quality emergency power supply with Line-Interactive topology. What distinguishes this series of UPS power supplies from traditional models is the full sine wave on the device's output sockets. For the user, this means the possibility of maintaining equipment with an electric motor or heater on the UPS battery, e.g. laser printers, scanners, garage and entrance gates, electric blinds, central heating furnaces. EFFICIENT, FUNCTIONAL SOLUTION The UPS R/3000I/PSW model is designed for demanding tasks. in 19” rack cabinets, including for work with workstations, servers or network/monitoring systems with high energy consumption. To cope with the task, the uninterruptible power supply is equipped with 4 efficient 9Ah batteries with a power factor of 0.7 - they guarantee the highest battery backup time. The UPS has 8 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, enabling protection of several devices at once. POSSIBILITY OF EXTENDING THE BACKUP TIME There are situations in which much more time is needed to ensure the safety of electronic devices during a power failure. Therefore, to extend its battery backup time, the R/3000I/PSW uninterruptible power supply is equipped with a socket enabling the connection of additional, dedicated Battery Pack B/0409/R modules. However, it is worth remembering that when connecting BP, make sure that the total voltage of the UPS battery and the module is the same. COMFORTABLE OPERATION MONITORING SYSTEM The Armac uninterruptible power supply communicates both via a USB port. This allows you to connect the UPS to a computer and issue commands or monitor the device's operation using the PowerManager II software - it is a simple and convenient way to ensure proper protection of your valuable equipment. MANY INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES AND HELPFUL MOUNTING ACCESSORIES INCLUDED The device can be mounted in a 19” rack cabinet in two ways: using only mounting ears (included with the product) or with the additional use of a set of Armac – R/0019 mounting rails, this option is recommended due to better stability and security of the Battery Pack. The UPS set also includes special stands that allow the device to be installed vertically, outside the rack cabinet. If we want to position the UPS and more than one Battery Pack module in this way, we can do so thanks to the leg extension elements. The package also includes a supply of screws and M6 cages. Both products are made of a metal alloy, which guarantees their durability. This is not the case with bent products that, instead of helping, hinder the installation of rails inside the server rack. SAFETY ARMAC UPS - OVERLOAD PROTECTION The R/3000I/PSW uninterruptible power supply is also suitable for more difficult tasks in the office, server room or IT workshop, such as protecting workstations, servers or network or monitoring systems with high energy consumption. The UPS has as many as 8 IEC 320 C13 output sockets, allowing you to connect many devices to it. Importantly, each Armac emergency power system is equipped with an overload protection module. If the UPS is overloaded during its normal operation, the device will automatically safely stop supplying power to the devices connected to it. This solution increases the safety and comfort of using Armac uninterruptible power supplies. MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL - EFFECTIVE MONITORING OF SENSITIVE DEVICES The correct operation of the emergency power supply is ensured by a specially built-in processor that controls the parameters of the device itself, its correct operation and the power supply of the connected equipment. The technology used in the UPS also ensures automatic battery charging in Stand-By mode and automatic startup when the mains power returns. AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE STABILIZER – AVR Thanks to the implementation of the Automatic Voltage Regulator function in the R/3000I/PSW, the classic solutions used in the Line-Interactive topology UPS are improved. This is due to the implementation of a network autotransformer, which continuously regulates the voltage transmitted to devices connected to the UPS. AVR therefore ensures comfort and high efficiency. AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE STABILIZER - AVR • If the voltage is approximately 255 V or more, the UPS will transfer the AC voltage to the autotransformer (AVR) resulting in an output voltage within the allowable range of 195 V to 255 V. • If the voltage is approximately 195 V or less, the UPS will transfer the mains voltage (AC) to the autotransformer (AVR) resulting in an output voltage within the allowable range of 195 V to 255 V.
