This elephant ear creamer (known as that because of the ear shaped/closed handle) is full of personality! It has beautiful staining and crazing throughout. With it, is a stained and crazed butter pat from Johnson Brothers. They pair just beautifully!
The creamer measures 2.25 inches tall; 3 inches wide from handle to spout and the base measures 1 7/8 inches in diameter.
There is a tight hairline on the inside only; this piece is solid and stable. The creamer has a glossy finish inside and out, while the base is a matte finish.
There is a mature flea bite on the spout, adding character!
The butter pat measures 3 inches in diameter. There is a hairline on the bottom and the side. All are mature and do not affect the integrity The edges have a beautiful scallop and there are remnants of gold still along the edges. There is a fleabite on the underside of the rim - not noticeable when displayed.
These are gorgeous pieces, full of character and patina!
