A large antique French porcelain ormolu mounted Sevres style dresser/jewelry box, dating from the late 19th or very early 20th century. The box is very beautifully done in the Sevres taste with the 5 portrait panels being a combination of transfer and hand painted. The box is approximately 5.5 inches tall and approximately 5.25 inches wide. There is some minor wear to the decoration, the cover is slightly off center, there is some old polish residue in and age wear and discoloration to the brass, and a small flake to one inside corner of the box (the tip of the pen is pointing to it).
