A thrift store find!  Used pink 10.1-inch Acer Aspire One Kav60 with a 1.6 Ghz Intel Atom processor, 2 GB Ram, 140 GB hard drive, webcam, Wi Fi, and yes, it is running Windows XP.  I couldn't believe the overall good condition of this computer and that it was still on XP, and it was running pretty well.  Of course, you cannot update it and I would be very leery of using it today on the internet.  I thought about deleting XP and adding Linux, for safety and efficiency, but I decided I would leave it to whomever wants it.  Apparently, it had not been used after 2009, since access to the programs that were on it showed. I deleted all personnel information of the previous owner and some old programs that were not useable. It does have Open Office installed. The old Internet Explorer 8 was not working.  I found two browsers that would work with XP, Opera and an unknown called Mypal. Also, I found only two anti-virus that would work with XP, Avast and AVG but they are not fully functional.  They update, but do not seem to work in real time, not sure why. Perhaps there are paid ones, but I wasn't willing.  The computer came with only 1 GB memory, so I added 2.  It apparently is upgradeable to 4, but only has one slot for upgrading. I will include the old ram card. Everything on it seems to be working and it looks almost new.  Hardly any scratches but it does have a ding on the left-hand corner (see pictures) with some lifting of upper and lower panels and a small broken piece on the right back hinge (see pic). They have no effect on the function of the computer.  The keyboard and palm rest look nearly new, and the screen as well.  I am not a computer expert, so I might have missed something. Because of this, it is sold as is, no guarantees, but this seems like an awesome little computer to upgrade or do with whatever you want.  Battery does hold a charge. Comes with charger, case, and old manuals. Ask any questions and I will try to answer.  Ship only in US.
