This Panasonic SA-BT230 home theater system comes with a subwoofer SB-HW480 and four SB-HF230 speakers, providing a high-quality audio experience for your movie and music needs. The system is compatible with DVD and Blu-ray formats and features Dolby Digital surround sound. Please note player and subwoofer tested works well. All four speakers were tested and did all work. The only issue I had was two of the speaker wires seem to be missing an aluminum part on the wire. I’m not familiar with these, not sure if there is more aluminum somewhere in the wire. I tried for about an hour and finally gave up. When I switched out the wires to the other speakers the speakers did work and it seems the only difference is the tip of the wire doesn’t have the aluminum present that the other two speaker wires have. I assume this is easily replaceable or fixable.
