I ordered this flute from the outstanding Portuguese flute and whistle maker Rui Gomes in the hope that my arthritic fingers could cover the bottom finger-hole, but it was not to be. Hence this really nice instrument remains in pristine, unplayed condition. Since I can't honestly say anything besides that about it, here is a brief review by a member of The Session, the sine qua non of all Irish flute/whistle websites:  "Rui’s flutes didn’t feel like they wanted to fight me. They were utterly charming and disarming. I told him that they feel like they want to be my best friend! Of course it’s all a matter of taste, but for sweetness and ease of playing, I thought these flutes were worth well more than he’s charging for them."
