Here is a very interesting advertising trade bill for the First National Bank of Baylies Mercantile College in Keuokuk, Iowa.
This is a rare piece of Iowa college currency that is unlisted in the Schingoethe reference. This institution changed its name on several occasions. The other Ive seen had an overprint and was in poor condition. I believe this to be EX condition with only slight corner wear. Very clean. Circa 1880. It measures 7 3/8" by 3". Would be near impossible to find a better example. I will have 5 of these early trade dollars for sale, so check my auctions ending 4/25 at 1030-11 pm central.
