Here is a luxurious monochrome brocade in an unusual pattern, which appears to be seed cones from a tree, or perhaps hops. The fabric is made from a cotton/synthetic blend, with cotton weft threads and unknown synthetic warp. It measures 1 yard in length, with about an extra 1/8th yard attached, and 46 inches wide. The photos show that there are ovoid shapes cut out of corners on one end, however the uncut portion measures a full yard. Use this fabric for creating hats, costumes, or pillows, or add it to your collection of crafting materials. It would make an amazing corset, or accessories for historical reenactment. The brocade pattern and black color make it a versatile addition to any project.

I found this lovely textile in a thrift store, with no labeling of any kind. To determine the fiber content I performed a burn test.
