Released the September after Patrick Nagel died, this is the third limited edition serigraph poster Mirage Editions, Inc (Nagel's primary publisher) created for the NC Series. "Sushi Girl" refers to the original version on illustration board, which appeared on the cover of Chicago magazine in March 1984. (A hand, holding a pair of chopsticks and a piece of sushi, was omitted from the serigraph.)

Mirage described the prints in the NC Series as "graphic posters" because they were larger in scale than most of Nagel's other lifetime posters (where the majority of are 17" x 25"), and the text was kept to a minimum. One could say Nagel's last lifetime-released poster, Playboy 30th Anniversary, was the template for this format.
