This is a good solid car, with work needed, so I will call it a project car. 

Good body all round.

Paintwork in good condition.

1200 motor with twin SU carbs.

Standard wheels with original hubcaps. No spare.

Engine starts and runs and sounds great once it settles down. Difficult to adjust idling. See below.

I have driven it and all the gears work.

The seats are all in good condition.  

I have a full set of badges (plastic stick on) that need to be chromed or painted. 

I have drained the fuel tank and put in fresh petrol.

Has electric fuel pump fitted - not by me. Needs to be wired in correctly and secured.

I put in new points and condenser.

Small/sport steering wheel - I don't have the original.

New battery.

As I said above work is needed. I might miss some work in my list below, but this will not be intentional. I just don't want to say this is all that is needed, and then other bits found.

The wiring needs attention and a new ignition switch is needed. Presently turning the ignition with a screwdriver or similar.

Lights, indicators, hooter etc don't work. The wiring all seems to be there so someone who knows what they are doing could fix.

Choke was stuck on, which caused problems starting, so I disconnected it at the carbs. 

Oil breather pipe missing from tappet cover to air filter.

Automatic advance and retard tube missing.

Bonnet needs a catch and rubber stops. Boot locks/opens/closes OK.

Some rubbers OK, but needs others.

The doors (driver's mostly) need to be aligned, and handles put on, adjusted etc.

Brakes work OK.

Handbrake works but the handle is not attached to the floor.

Gear shift (centre) console is loose.

Glove compartment door needs a catch.

Needs rear interior shelf and other trim, door cards loose.

One wheel missing two bolts.

Rear bumper loose.

Front grill loose.

If asked for, I will provide a pic of the car and current newspaper, or other object, to prove the car exists.

This is a project car, so I do not offer any guarantee, and will not accept a return. So I strongly recommend looking at the car before committing to buy, not afterwards or on collection.

The pics in this listing include some that were taken when she was clean & shiny, and some after being in storage for over a year. Same condition but not so clean & shiny.

I will consider reasonable offers. I have some offers on the table already, and the car is advertised elsewhere. I therefore reserve the right to end the listing early if sold elsewhere.  So, if you are seriously interested, please don't leave your offer to the last minute because you might be too late. 

If I accept an offer made, it will be conditional upon (1) receiving a 25% non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the offer being accepted - I will give bank details at the time. (2) me only closing the listing after the car has been collected and paid for. (3) the balance of the purchase price to be paid in full either (preferred) online at least 24 hours prior to collection, or cash on collection. I will check cash with an ultra-violet light so no dodgy notes please. (4) If the car is collected or delivered on buyer's behalf, payment in full will be required before it leaves my lockup. (5) car to be paid for in full and collected/delivered within 7 days of the offer being accepted.

The car will have to be trailered, towed, or transported. I have a colleague who transports cars, so I can obtain a quote if you wish. This can be paid for together with payment for the car.
