This is a very cool and rare CALVERT EXTRA Whiskey thermometer that looks great.  Says "The Soft Whiskey". It measures approx. 16" X 6" and looks outstanding.  The colors are crisp and unfaded.  It has no dents, bends, or twists...and it lays very flat.  It was "Made In USA" out of metal/tin as noted at the bottom of the temp scale.  Also has the number "29" printed at the top of the scale.  Thermometer tube seems to work well and be very close to correct, but we cannot guarantee its accuracy.  Has some small nicks and scratches here and there from use....as this one actually hung on the wall in a local liquor retailer/bottle shop/package store.  The back side is near mint as you can see.  Check out the pictures for the overall best description.  Not 100% sure of the original date of issue on this one....but based on the style/colors/slogan....it looks to be from the late 50's or early 60's.  Feel free to ask questions if you have any and be sure to see our other stuff too!
