A very beautiful antique quilt.

Absolutely incredible stitching throughout in the carpenters square design.

Densely stitched & a definitely a heavier quilt but not overly thick

Incredibly charming & visually pleasing but definitely not perfect.

The front was most likely a pink calico, now faded to a softer pink. There is wear on this side throughout & to the edges. Some areas that have aged spots & a whole to the outer edge.

The back side doesn’t seem affected by this and is overall good in terms of the cotton. Will have the whole & edge wear but good cotton on that side overall.

All that said, it won’t be for everyone but perfect in primitive settings & cottage chic type settings. For anyone appreciating the incredible stitching as well as it has amazing graphic appeal in lieu of it’s imperfections.

So beautifully made & cozy to be around. Lovely ambiance.
