Films and Filming Magazine

Films and Filming was a UK based magazine that focused on newly released and soon to be released films. Included here are the August and October issues of 1961.

No writing on the text pages or covers.  These are not library discard copies.  Text pages are intact and tightly bound. Both issues are 8-1/2" X 11" and are 42 pages each.  More details on each issue are below. 



August 1961 - James Stewart on the cover.   'Thinking of Corruption' by Sidney Poitier - 'Man of Two Worlds' by Adoplhe Menjou - Berlin Film Festival by Peter Cowie - The Latin Beat in Europe by Peter Baker - Samurai and Small Beer by Douglas McVay - My Strange Dilemma by Eli Wallach - and lots of film reviews!   This issue has a slight bend to the top right corner.

October 1961 -  Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard on the cover.  Creating Without Compromise by Richard Widmark - Penetrating The Commercial Barrier by Jean-Pierre Mocky - Judy Garland by Douglas McVay - Following My Actor's Instinct by Laurence Harvey -  lots of films reviews!
