This kit is designed for the Tamiya M3 Stuart kit, this long out of production set makes the British version of the M3 known as the "Honey". Major Robert Crisp in his book "Brazen Chariots" about the Desert War comments about British tankers reactions to the Stuart. The Radial aeroplane engine could get up to 40mph on good going, and they found that it was virtually impossible to throw off a track. After putting one thru its paces, Crisp asked his driver what he thought of the new tank: "It's a Honey, Sir" and the name stuck. With it's thicker frontal armor, main gun that could fire HE as well as AP shot (unlike the 2pdr), mechanical reliability, and ease of maintenance, the M3 Stuart became an instant favorite to British tankers in Africa. The Honey was an early production M3 with an octagonal turret and fitted with sand shields for desert use. Now you can convert that old Tamiya M3 Stuart kit into this unique British tank.

Important! This item is unassembled and unpainted. All extra model kit(s) and figure(s) in the pictures are for illustrative purposes only, and they are not included.
