This is a marvellous Vintage Codeg Camberwick Green Village Folk Figure, with jointed arms, which was made in 1966. It is in good condition but does exhibit a little age-related wear from handling and use and measures approximately 15cm high. We're not sure who this is so could be from Trumpton or Chigley also.

Camberwick Green was the first in a series of three children's television programmes set in the fictional Trumptonshire and broadcast on the BBC in the late 1960s as part of its Watch with Mother series, featuring stop motion puppets. The other two programmes were Trumpton and Chigley. Each episode featured a story about one of the village's characters who appeared at the beginning out of a musical box.

The series was written and produced by Gordon Murray and animated by Bob Bura, John Hardwick and Pasquale Ferrari.
