The heavy duty stage box measures 12" x 7 1/8" x 3" has 12 female and 4 male XLR connectors a metal mesh strain relief boot and a metal bale to prevent stress on the individual connectors. It has a convenient handle on one end and includes mounting holes so it can be secured to a wall or floor position. The XLR connectors have metal bodies with plastic sleeves and rubber strain relief boots. The 12 downstream connectors have black plastic rings with white numbers (1 12) and the upstream connectors have blue plastic rins with white letters (A D). Additionally the jacket of each cable is labeled with a number every "or so making it easy to trace lines and troubleshoot. The female connectors have a locking latch while the female ports on the stage box have locking latch release levers. The cable connection at the stage box can be removed. This allows for easy repairs or modifications to suit your individual needs. The main cable has an outside diameter of about 3/4".
