This auction is for a used Vintage Calvary Military Y&T #3 Iron Horse Bit - 0508243

Marking on the bit - look at the pictures

Used bit - I have not cleaned it up - I do not know how old it is - yes it has surface rust from being in a leaky building  - should clean up okay - shanks have a flare to them from use - both rings are in place  - also the under the chin chain is present  - I see no breaks or cracks  - clean it and add to your collection or decor for the western home, office, shop.          

Actual weight is 1 lb. 1.0 oz.

This is a Estate sale find.
