Scanner is in EXCELLENT condition, tested and fully functional using Windows XP. The Nikon Scan software included with the scanner is not supported by Windows beyond XP, as I understand it the scanner works properly in Windows 10 using drivers available in a product called VueScan available at 

( https://www.hamrick.com/. ) VueScan is compatible with the Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED on windows, Mac OS and LINUX. Overall in fantastic condition, comes with the original box.
