What a fun and funky primitive polka dot print! This knit fabric is from the 1960s, made of acetate and has some stretch on the crosswise grain. It is light and very drapey, perfect for some slinky loungewear, or even a unique lining. I love the slight irregularities in the coffee brown and black spots. The off-white background sets them off beautifully!

Sold by-the-yard. Purchases of multiple yards will be sold as one piece.

This fabulous knit fabric is 44 inches wide I have almost 5 yards of it, just a few inches short. To give each buyer a full yard I've listed only 4. If you purchase all 4 yards, I'll add in the extra 30 inches in for free!

The knit method is unusual, since it appears to have ribs going crosswise instead of lengthwise, and the wrong side looks unlike any other knit fabric I have in my stash.

This is vintage fabric and it has one tiny, faint purple spot. This spot is barely visible so I used a pin to point it out in the photo. There is also a sticker, I’m assuming from where it was originally purchased, decades ago. This sticker says the fabric is acetate and I have no reason to believe otherwise.

By purchasing this listing you acknowledge that you have read the description thoroughly and accept the following: that this is raw material for crafting; not a finished product; not new; and may have defects. I strive to describe and photograph all imperfections, cut pieces or other issues.
