Jaeger went on to win a Royal Warrant in 1910... manufacture woollen long johns for British and Commonwealth Troops in World War I... then switch to fashion in the 1920's... and open its flagship store on London's Regent Street in the 1930's.

Jaeger clothing was modelled by both Aubrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe in the 1950's and picked up a British Fashion Award in 1996.

Natural fibres remained central to the brand throughout its history.  The camel hair coat was a Jaeger invention and it also utilised other exotic woollens such as cashmere, angora, and alpaca.
