Please excuse any glare / shadows in my photos.
You are bidding on a preowned antique hardback book titled THE GREAT WAR SYNDICATE by Frank R. Stockton
Copyright 1889 and what I would consider a first edition??  It does not have a copyright date, but says ENTERED ACCORDING TO ACT OF CONGRESS, IN THE YEAR 1889, BY . F. COLLIER, IN THE OFFICE OF THE LIBRARIAN OF CONGRESS, WASHINGTON, D.C.
Inside the front cover is a bookplate that says the book belonged to Harry Colby Kahlo.  There is some wear to the edges of the cover, and there is a bit of separation on the inside front seam at the top.
This book includes black and white illustrations.
There are 191 pages.
This book measures 6 1/2" x 4 1/4".

See photos for details.

I'm not versed in the condition of books, however, I would say this is in good condition, given it's age.   There is no writing inside the book, except a previous price inside the front cover.    I think this is a rare book - couldn't find another one to compare.  There is yellowing of the pages, as I expect with it's age.
I'm selling other items, including maps and books (some recent, collectible and antiquarian), and will be happy to combine shipping.
Priced for quick sale and ships via USPS from a pet-free and smoke-free home.
