Vintage ELECTRO BRAND Stereo radio, model 2971, in good working condition except for the shortwave band, which may need the band switch cleaned or could have another issue. All other bands are in excellent working condition. The tape player has not been tested, but I was told it is in good working order.

Modifications:

  1. Removed the direction finder from the top of the radio. The AM antenna coil was moved from the direction finder to inside the internal ferrite antenna. The AM band now works even better because the internal ferrite rod is a bit longer.
  2. Removed/replaced rusty speaker grilles with black plastic grilles.
  3. The LCD of the clock has some liquid imperfections. It is now covered by a printed display photo.

Both antennas are original and in good condition. The dial light is the original bulb and works well. The radio has been tested with batteries and with the built-in power supply from a 120 Volt household line.

Selling it as is. Battery not included.
