I'm selling my two original Herman Miller Fiber Glass Eames DSW chairs.

Herman Miller had the Eames licence prior to Vitra (who currently have it) and made fiber glass versions of the renowned DSW chairs (before they were made of injection moulded plastic).

What makes these chairs so exceptionally rare and important is that there is a University of Michigan serial number on both of them. Charles and Ray Eames were teaching in Michigan for a time, meaning that there is a chance that these were sat on by the great designers themselves.

I've contacted the Eames and they confirmed that these are inventory tags and the University bought the chairs from Herman Miller and then added inventory tags to keep track of them.

These tags make these chairs an important part of design history.
