This is incredible!  All self contained and cord compartments work to conceal.  There is a battery compartment but I only tried plugged in with original cord.  He is what I found .  Radio sounds real good at volume.  Sometimes the selector knob had to be fooled with to switch.  It is on AM now and will come right on and tunr.  I noticed when testing a cassette the volume would clip when turned up higher.  Seems like the extra draw running the cassette decks motors is enough to cause the clipping.  The record player side needs a needle.  The head is unscrewed you can hear it trying to amplify on phono but again has no needle.
