Up for bid is a pair of vintage American Optical Berkeley eyeglasses in very good condition.  All parts are original with no damage or repairs.  The white gold-filled metal has some mild oxidation, and the temple tips have more significant oxidation.  One nose pad is marked with the American Optical logo followed by 14K PADS.  The bridge is marked with an American Optical logo, followed by BERKELEY, followed by a symbol indicating that the frame is gold filled.  The hinges and screws are in good working order and the frame is in good alignment.  The eye size measures 44 mm and the bridge measures 24 mm. The temple length is 5 3/4 inches. The measurement across the front of the frame including the hinges is 4 7/8 inches. The frame will fit an average size face.
