Has been in a case as long as I've had it it comes with the case pen and charger you see in the pictures it's been factory reset so its ready for someone to do whatever they want with it.. It does not come with a box what you see is exactly how it will come to you I will fully charge it am turn it off before shipping I will overly protect this item no worries absolutely nothing is wrong with this ipad someone will be very happy with this item
