The 1926-S is well known as the scarcest of all full-red Lincoln cents, with a jaw-dropping jump to six figures for an MS-65 RD, the mere 5 graded between NGC & PCGS goes to show how hard it is to find this coin in full red. This Gem is a spectacular example of this coveted date, it has a hammered, early die-state strike, blazing luster, limited contact marks, and fiery, predominantly red surfaces with just a light bit of toning! It is a superb coin for grade with a very hard to find, top-tier strike, and it is as close to full-red as you can get without a 10X+ jump in price.
