Basswood body, JEM-shaped one-piece maple neck/rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, the 2nd to 12th frets feature the iconic Tree of Life inlay, and the 24th fret block inlay. It has STEVE VAI written in it.
The bridge is equipped with a recess-mounted Lo TRS II tremolo.
This model has all the specs to reproduce Steve Vai's superb technique, including an ultra-slim neck, near-flat fingerboard radius, jumbo frets, and high-power pickups that output a well-balanced and elegant sound.
