Fi 442b coloured brownish-red printed on Fi 342-Vc.

[Fi 342 (Polish Eagle) was issued in 13/09/1944. Known as the ‘Goznak’ issue, the first supply was sent from Moscow to Lublin, Poland, which had been liberated by Soviet forces on 24th July 1944 and which became the temporary headquarters of the Soviet-controlled Communist Polish Committee of National Liberation established by Joseph Stalin]

Error/s:

'Schmitzdruck' being a double hit of the plate caused by the sheet of paper being ruffled going through the printing press and being touch a second time.

Along the left blank margin are printed the edges of the 3-bar cancellation and the letter ‘…A’ from “LOTNICZA’.
