A beautiful pair of folding opera glasses. They were bought at auction many years ago and were described as tested for gold. I cannot see a hallmark. They feature a small locking mechanism that releases the second lens. The frame itself is in great vintage condition with very little wear. The lenses are also in good condition . The handle stem is engraved on both sides with a vine/leaf pattern and is very decorative. Feel free to ask for more information or photographs.

The length, from the tip of the handle to the hinge is 6 1/4 inches. The width across the lens while closed is 1 1/2 inches.
