An antique finely carved Mother of Pearl shell with a scene of Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist, presumably a souvenir from Jerusalem. The shell is approximately 5.75 inches wide and approximately 5.75 inches long. There is a small loss to the bottom edge - the tip of the pen is pointing to it.
