Stunning original Wittnauer two register chronograph, very clean genuine vintage Wittnauer-only white creamy dial (pre-Geneve) with intact lume plots present, multi-color measurement scales. Original dauphine steel hands have patina matching the lume plots, blue tachymeter scale and red telemeter scale. Case is very sharp, small seconds at 9:00 position, minute register at 3:00 and "SWISS" signature at 6 o'clock. Round chronograph push buttons and a push/pull winding crown are all function as it should. Solid stainless steel case with screw-down back is 35mm excluding winding crown, down-turned is razor-sharp bevels and original finishes throughout lugs, stepped angled bezel are polished/brushed. This Wittnauer chronograph Ref. 3256 has a mechanical manual winding 14w (Venus cal.188) movement in good working condition. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device and a straight-line lever escapement. Dial, case and movement are all signed. Comes with a very good condition Duchess white gold filled straight ends bracelet.
