LONESOME CITIES BY ROD
MCKUEN 1968 DELUXE 1ST EDITION SIGNED SLIPCASE NF. Somewhere I have any number of McKuen’s books
which were collected during my impressionable youth! Here’s one a bit special, in fact, a stated
Deluxe Edition specially printed and bound and signed by the Author of: “Lonesome
Cities” by Rod McKuen. This small
hard cover book (5 ½ x 8 ½ inches, 114 pages) was published by Random House of
New York dated 1968 and the First Printing (so stated). It is flat-signed by Rod McKuen on the
first printed page. The book is bound in
bright red cloth with a gilt facsimile signature of McKuen on the cover and gilt
titles on the spine. The book is
protected by a sturdy cardboard slipcase.
Please see the photos of the Table of Contents for your further information
on the poems contained in this volume.
Condition: This book in its slipcase is in near fine condition. The slipcase is bright and clean and without physical
damage or soiling. The hard cover book
is pristine in and out and the only mark I found is McKuen’s signature. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
Shipping:
This small hard cover book will be very carefully packed, with bubble
wrap and with solid cardboard for their protection and promptly mailed upon
payment. Please note that I do not
charge for packing and handling; all you pay is the postage. Media
mail postage for this small-sized hard cover book in its slipcase will be only
$4.30. Within the US for domestic
mailings, combined shipping for multiple purchases is gladly offered.
The eBay
site has become so popular that it is difficult to find your way back to a
seller with an interesting array of listings.
Please consider “book-marking” my site so you can see a constantly
changing inventory of other truly vintage books and/or collectible works.
Please also
be aware that all my current listings
are “spring-summer-fall” listings held here in New York State. Once it starts getting cold again, say
December, I will head back to Florida for the winter season and switch out
these listings for another catalogue of different books held there.
Please don’t hesitate to send any questions; I will monitor
closely and respond promptly. Thanks,
and enjoy.
