Item up for bid is an amazing original framed program from the 1968 dedication of the restored Ford's Theatre  and Lincoln Museum. Program is framed along with a clipped newspaper article about the death of Senator Everett McKinley Dirksen (R-Illinois) who is listed on the program as having presented readings from the works of Lincoln at the dedication ceremony. Newspaper article shows he passed within a year of the dedication. Not sure why the two were framed together though we can surmise the framed display was done by a friend or family of the Senator.

Framed display was found with no glass in place and will not come with any. Item has a hanging wire and hardware installed on the back. Frame shows light finish, corner, edge and surface wear and could use a light cleaning with frame showing no cracks or breaks. Entire display measures 20-3/4" top to bottom by 18-1/4" wide by 0-7/8" in depth. Fantastic piece that comes fresh to the market. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
