An antique Hammersley English bone china Shakespeare plate with a raised gold border. The scene is titled Hamlet and Ophelia and is by J. H. Bacon. The plate dates from between 1910 and 1920. The plate is just over 9.25 inches diameter, and is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no flea bites, no repairs, just some light age-appropriate wear.
