Smiths MA L Deco Chrome Clock Classic Car Aircraft 3 1/2" Dial

L series car and vehicle clock for gimble mount. One of my uncles collection, he says 1930s, probably right has a strong deco look, chrome nickel plate on brass. Back cover still has its black finish in reasonable order, good hands, glass, dial in good order with no staining. Condition is good but doesnt work, front knob alters the hands okay  (pull and turn) and turns the spring  but runs back, no audible clicks - doesnt wind.
