NNB This is the last of my 70CTs. I hope it goes to a good home.

NB On testing the spare battery today, it doesn’t charge properly. I’ll still include it in the deal, but thought you should be aware of this change.

This vintage Toshiba Libretto 70CT is boxed and complete with all its original accessories and a Targus leather case. I have loved these little gems for many years. I was the one who supplied replacement SSD’s for Librettos on eBay some years ago. With increasing age, the time has now come to share my collection with other enthusiasts. This example is one of the stars of the collection. In an original, but battered, 70CT box, it has all the original accessories, some in the original packaging. Those with sharp eyes will see that there is a picture on the box of a machine running Windows 98, but on the side of the box it clearly says this machine has “Single Install MS-Windows 95”. It is in excellent working condition, and has a new RTC (CMOS) battery just fitted by me. The main battery (1200mAh) is excellent and there is also a working battery charger with a spare battery. It is running Win 95 on the original hard drive which has 500MB C: and 1GB D: partitions. Microsoft office is also present and works well. Please see the photos for all the detail. It comes with 16MB of RAM. The keyboard is standard UK (with a £ sign) and all keys look good and work well. The case is fine apart from two areas of discolouration on the rear face and one on the left side. These minor faults do not affect the smooth running of this fine machine.

Comes complete with:

70CT box including original User Manual, Safety Instruction Manual, UK Service & Support Manual, and warranty forms.

The original Win95 certificate of authenticity (I’ve not shown the number for security reasons).

Complete set of original Backup Libretto 70 floppy disks, plus a Win95 start-up floppy disk (all readable on the floppy drive)

Original AC adaptor.

Extra battery charger with a spare battery .

Toshiba port replicator with VGA, Serial and printer ports (not tested).

Two PCMCIA modem cards with one connector (untested).

Toshiba PCMCIA 3.5 floppy drive in original packaging (tested and working)

Targus leather carrying case with the two modem cards inside.

Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
