Offered is an antique china head doll with a cloth body. She has porcelain or clay hands and probably leather feet. While the doll itself seems to be in good vintage condition, her outer dress will deteriorate by just looking at it.

She has been in storage for many years. When I took her out of the box her outer dress split anywhere I touched it. Her under dress and pantaloons, probably cotton, have held up well. She is sewn into her clothing.

Her shoes are probably leather. One has torn almost entirely off. The stuffing is visible and looks like hair.

She is about 16 ½ inches tall. Her hair is black and her eyes are blue. There are no maker’s marks.

The top dress is very fragile. Tears are increasing as I photograph her. In the pictures you can see bits that have fallen off as I moved her.

There are two small spots on the back of her head where her black painted hair has rubbed off.
