Description: This is a sparkling, Art Deco Era fringe necklace that features copper-orange and white glass-paste pendants. The stones are set with a closed back in tall, bezels. They are likely backed with foil, so be sure not to get this piece wet as moisture can damage the foil and cause the stones to appear discolored. Surprisingly, these stones are still pretty jazzy, just like the style of this necklace. The white stones have little to no yellow and the orange stones are a lovely copper color. It's a well-loved piece, so it's not in perfect condition, but it wears very well. Wonderful, sturdy construction. Based on the materials and work, I would guess it's Czech.

Measurements: 16 inches long. The longest fringe drop in the center falls about 1.25 inches. The stones are about 3.5-4mm in diameter and have a depth of 4mm from the bottom of the setting to the top of the stone.

Approximate Weight: 20.3 grams.

Condition: Fairly good, vintage condition with wear in keeping with age and use. The stones are all present and intact. The brass is dull and has a little patina on the chain in a couple of spots, but it may polish up. The clasp and the links are in good order. Please use the photos as a guide as they form part of the description and the condition of a piece is subjective.

Notes about purchasing vintage and antique jewelry: Items that have been loved for decades or even centuries should be purchased with the understanding that they usually reflect age-related wear. Feel free to ask any questions for clarification before purchasing.

Please also note that pricing for the antique and vintage jewelry sold here at Portals of Time Vintage is not based on the weight and value of any precious metals or stones as is often the case with new, modern jewelry. Instead, pricing is based on the style and rarity of the piece as an antique and prices are subject to change according to fluctuations in market value and availability or scarcity of a particular style or type of piece. Please also keep in mind the time, effort, and resources spent to find, acquire, photograph, list, and market a particular piece as well as the high cost of selling in the online marketplace.
