Violin condition: Very good, defect-free. There are minor traces of prior use in the finish.
Fittings: Ebony; Wittner integrated lightweight tailpiece.
Strings: Brand new D'Addario Helicore set.
Bow: Original Yamaha bow.
Case: Original Yamaha case in very good condition, with a strap and violin blanket.

This is a high quality intermediate violin that would be suitable for the serious student. Offered as full outfit.

The violin is characterized by a rich and sweet, yet powerful sound. Fully hand-carved from fine quality, thoroughly seasoned and aged woods. Features a high grade Spruce top and finely flamed Maple neck, back, and sides.

There are no cracks, repairs, or any other structural defects. Only minor traces of prior use (most notable of which is the tiny nick in the edge by the neck). Very well maintained and fully play-ready.

Yamaha V7 outfit is currently offered by major music instrument retailers in the United States - where this model is called Yamaha AV7 (the "A" is for "America") - for around $1,500.
